Molina Healthcare Donates $25,000 to the National Alliance to End Homelessness

Sep 16, 2019

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep. 16, 2019-- Molina Healthcare donated $25,000 to the National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH) to support the organization’s valuable work combating the growing homelessness crisis across the country. The funds will help the nonprofit advocate for increased affordable housing and resources for those experiencing homelessness.

“This generous donation will help support our mission to end homelessness in the United States,” said Nan Roman, president and CEO of National Alliance to End Homelessness. “Molina Healthcare’s contribution underscores the importance of having a broad coalition of partners – including the nonprofit and private sectors, the philanthropic community, and all levels of government – all committed to ending homelessness.”

The National Alliance to End Homelessness works to support communities in their efforts to end homelessness. The Alliance analyzes policy and develops pragmatic, cost-effective policy solutions; works collaboratively with the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to build state and local capacity; and provides data and research to policymakers and elected officials in order to inform policy debates and educate the public and opinion leaders nationwide.

“We’re pleased to present this donation to the National Alliance to End Homelessness because at Molina we see how issues like the lack of housing can really hurt our members’ ability to access the health care they need and deserve,” said Amy Tenhouse, vice president of government affairs for Molina Healthcare. “The homelessness crisis is evident across our country, and we appreciate the important work NAEH does every day to provide shelter for those in need.”
